Slice the Pie- Make Money Reviewing Music

Slice the pie is a site where music lovers can go to review and rate music on a scale of 1 to 10. When you set up your account for free you have choice to pick what kind of  music that you choose to review but if you limit your choice then you limit the amount of money that you can make. I am only a fan of gospel, jazz, neo soul, and r & b but all that changed when I set up my account on Slice the pie. I have developed a love for different genre's of music. Make sure you choose the music that you can listen to. Once you pick the genres you can not change it.

I have reviewed music that contained profanity but I tuned it out, left my review and moved on. I did not leave a bad review because the artist used that language I just let the artist know that I did not listen to music with profanity in it but I like his style. So if you say something bad say something good as well.

Questions that you may have about Slice the Pie

Where does the music come from to review on  Slice the Pie? The artist submit the music to get reviews of the public to see if the music is marketable

How much can you make with Slice the Pie? Let me just say "don't expect to get rich". Now if you have some spare time and like listening to music the you can make at least gas money. it all depends on how much time that you have and how good you are at reviewing music. The longer the review the more you will get paid.

How much experience do I have to have to review music with Slice the Pie? NO EXPERIENCE AT ALL!! When I first started i though that i needed experience but after you submit a few reviews you will see how much you can make and how low you can make.

How fast does Slice the Pie rate you before you get paid? You get paid as soon as you submit your review. You can sit there all day long and watch your balance increase.

How often do you get paid? You have to make at least $10 before you get it but hey it's $10 that you didn't have before. They pay by Paypal so you immediately get your money.

What I don't like about it is that it can take a while to get the $10. So you have to have patience and just keep reviewing and before you know it you will have get there.

My Proof of Earnings

You have to listen to the music tracks carefully before submitting your review because if you don't Slice the Pie will give you a message saying that "you did not talk about the different elements of the track". I hate this. This even happens to me. When you get this message go back and read over what you tried to submit and see how you can fix it by adding in more about the track like:

The vocals- were they good or bad? Is there pitch off? did they sound happy or sad?, did the vocals fit with the music track?, was the vocals sincere?, did the singer sound like they meant what they were singing about?, did the singer sound like they  have lived through what they are singing?, Is the singer connected with the song? Are the vocals engaging? You can also put in the review that you didn't like the singing at all. Just honest but don't use negative words or Slice the pie will let you know and you will have to resubmit. Will talk about negative words in a second. Keep reading.

The Recording- did is sound professional?, did it sound like they did the recording at home?, Does the recording need work? Talk about the quality of the work.

The Lyrics-How can you relate to the lyrics? Are the lyrics romantic? Do they make you sad? Are the lyrics long enough?

The Instruments- If you know your instruments you can compliment how that instrument sounds so well with the track or the producer should have left that particular instrument off. Are the instruments too loud for the vocals?

Your own experience- Let the artist and production know how you can relate to the song. Most singers write about what they have been through in life. They are not the only ones that have been through it so tell them how you have been through it as well. If the singer has been through it and you have too then the song is marketable because people can relate. Singers have to be able to relate to the consumers.

Based on your reviews- Get paid more

The more specific and detailed your review is the more bonus tracks you will receive. A bonus track plays unexpectedly based on the good reviews that you have left for other artists.

The key to Slice the Pie is to express how you feel. Don't worry about how the artist might feel about your opinion. Have fun with it and if nothing else make enough for gas money. You never know when you may need it.

So if you would like to try Slice the Pie here is the link to take you straight to it.
